Research on Reversal Design of the Stand Collar Pattern Based on 3D Modeling Approach

  When making patterns for different body sizes with traditional stand collar patterns,tiie jut-out value in the patterns should be adjusted one by one.So it is hard to control exactly the same as tiiat of tiie distance between tiie pattern and the neck (that is,neck-fitted degree).In order to solve the problem,this paper tried to turn tiiought ways,created 3D neck-fitted stand collar models of unified standards for 11 mannequins into different sizes,and tiien unfolded tiie collar models into 2D plane patterns.For tiie unfolding part we used tiie plane flattening metiiod to convert 3D into 2D.Thereby stand collar patterns with different sizes of mannequins and tiie same neck-fitted degree could be obtained.In the paper,tiie control variable of stand collar was the neck widtii witii a value of 3.5cm.The shortest distance from the fold line of tiie collar to the neck was 0.6cm,and tiie neckline curve under line of the collar used the seventh generation of Japanese culture basic block.Finally,the unfolded plane patterns were redesigned into 3D sizes to confirm the neck-fitted degree of tiie collar types after regularization.The paper verified tiie effectiveness of the metiiod to obtain stand collar pattern adverse based on 3D modeling approach.
