A New Test Method for Heat Conductivity of Filling Fiber Assembly

　　This paper designs a special apparatus for testing the heat conductivity of fiber assembly.It is different from fabric testing.For six filling fibers-wool,cashmere,kapok,hollow polyester,acrylic and goose down,tiieir heat conductivity with different bulk densities were measured.The results show tiiat tiie fiber morphological structures affect assembly characteristics.Bulk density is an important parameter which has a close relation witii the thermal transfer of fiber assembly.Controlling tiie assembly bulk densities to contain more still air is the crucial method for decreasing its heat conductivity.
