Analysis on the Heat Transfer Performance of Single-side Napped Fabric
The paper presents a systematic analysis on the differences of tiiickness and heat flux of up and down surface of single-side napped fabric,to explore tiie relationship between heat flux and tiiickness during compression. The study showed tiiat heat flow of up surface upwards is greater than down surface upwards within a beginning touch of fabric on the upper plate of Fabric Touch Tester (p < 0.05);heat flux difference of up and down surface upwards for the same species is small after 0.6 Pa pressure (p >0.05);heat flux linear correlate witii tiiickness either un-plush surface up or plush surface after 0.6 Pa pressure (correlation coefficient R2 > 0.9);slopes of regression equation increased from initial tiiickness to midpoint of tiie maximum pressure except for the first heat peak of up surface. In conclusion, heat flux is significantly affected by measure surface status in beginning touch of fabric;heat flux is no longer relevant with measure surface and fabric structure after a certain pressure.
