Effects of nanoparticles,short fibres and elastomers on the fracture toughness of Composition B
Recent study of our group is introduced.Influence of additives (nanoparticles, fibres, elastomers, etc.) on tensile strength, fracture strength and compressive intensity of composition was investigated.It was shown that sulfide nitrile rubber nano particles have better effects on enhancing the fracture toughness of Composition B, proper amount of adding glass fibres and carbon fibres could also increase the mechanical properties such as tensile or compressive strength.
