Influence of PTFE on the structural-mechanical properties and laws of burning of the composites, containing magnesium boride

Earlier by us it has been shown, that the complex modifier polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) at formation in optimum conditions forms interpenetrating structures in volume of a composite, which essentially improves a complex of the rheological, mechanical characteristics and combustion peculiarities of various composites.Influence of the contents of magnesium boride, and also contents of PTFE on the burning law, mechanical and rheological properties of the modified modelling composites on a basis divinylstyrene thermoelastoplast and ammonium perchlorate is investigated.By the constant-pressure plant the dependence of the burning rate on pressure and initial temperature is determined. With the help of tungsten-rhenium thermocouples character of distribution of temperatures in a wave of burning of samples is estimated. It is established, that the modification changes a level of the burning rate, temperature of a surface, the pressure exponent in the law of burning v and the temperature factor of the burning rate β.It is established, that the modifying of samples leads simultaneously to improvement of its deformative-strength, and rheological characteristics, provides an opportunity of processing of composites with a method of through passage pressing.Efficiency of modifying of mechanical and ballistic characteristics of composites grows in comparison with the samples, which are not containing PTFE, with increase of the modifier contents and with increasing of contents and specific surface of fillers.
