Interior ballistic model and programming of exploding valve

  To guide the design of exploding valves, a mathematical and physical model based on interior ballistic theory of exploding valve was proposed.Runge-Kutta algorithm was utilized to numerically solve the model.Furthermore, an interior ballistic analysis code was compiled.The functional tests of an exploding valve were simulated using the compiled code and the calculated results were compared with experimental ones.Consequently, the peak pressure achieved 8.9MPa and the initial piston velocity reached 16.9m/s, which is well verified by the experimental results.
