Engineering design of discrete rod focusing warhead

摘要：

　　With integration of the advantage of rod cutting for discrete rod warhead and the feature of high density kill element for focusing warhead, a new warhead technique, so-called discrete rod focusing warhead, is proposed in this paper.And the feasibility of this new kind warhead was demonstrated by prototype test.The results indicated that discrete rod focusing warhead can produce high density discrete rod, which is eight times as high as traditional discrete warhead, in a narrow focusing band, and has double cutting structural damage effect of partial cutting for single rod and integral cutting for focusing band.
