Method and calculation for laser energy adjusting in sensitivity test

  The affection of lateral misalignment to laser energy transmission in optical fiber was analyzed, coupling efficiency were calculated in theory for step-and graded-index fiber, which were used commonly in laser initiated ordnance system(LlOS).Based on this, coupling efficiency could be adjusted by lateral offset between fibers.Thus a new firing laser energy adjusting method of laser sensitivity test for laser initiated ordnance system was put forward, the corresponding test device was designed.The firing laser energy adjusting method and its corresponding test device were proved to be suitable for fiber-coupled laser initiated ordnance system.
