Surrounding rock characteristics and lining scheme study for Qingyuan pumped storage power station tailrace tunnel

  Based on the engineering geological analysis of Qingyuan pumped storage power station tailrace tunnel, the tailrace tunnel lining scheme is discussed, focusing on the feasibility and rationality of plain concrete lining.Firstly, common lining types of hydraulic tunnel are briefly introduced, and a preliminary decision that the tailrace tunnel can adopt plain concrete lining is made.Next, in order to study the engineering geological conditions requirement to adopt plain concrete lining, the numerical simulation analysis is carried out by using the penetrative tunnel structure calculation principle and the finite element method.Finally, combined with the engineering geological conditions of different tunnel sections, the tailrace tunnel lining scheme for Qingyuan pumped storage power station is studied.
