Formation Time and Tectonic Implications of Granite in Alahada Area,Inner Mongolia

  A large quantities of granites in Inner Mongolia, Alahada Area are closely related to the copper polymetallic deposits that have been found.In this paper, by the determination of the Rb-Sr isotopic age of plagioclase in granite of this area, we draw the following conclusions that the crystalline age of granite was 141 ± 24Ma, belongs to the Yanshan period, the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous.The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio is 0.7052±0.0034, shows that the granite has the feature of crust-mantle mixing type and is dominated by mantle.Through granite structure diagram, set out in the formation of granite setting is complex: not only has the formation of orogenic setting, but also the formation of orogenic setting.And it provides the theoretical basis for looking for the granite-related polymetallic deposit.
