Formation and Evolution of Shangyi-Longhua Regional Fault in Northern Hebei Province
Shangyi-Longhua regional fault distributes from east to west in the north of Hebei province, which initially actived in the late Archean (late of Fuping period) and keeps its activities till the Holocene.Its activities history can be divided into nine tectonic stages.It is a complex and intensive deformation zone, featured by interwaved ductile deformation and brittle deformation, and has a long-term and multi-stage property, and was variable in dip and property.It is one of an important dividing line of the tectonic units of different levels and different stages in the north of Hebei province, which played an important controlling role on the evolution of the geological history on both sides of it.
