A Tentative Discussion on Ore-Forming Material Sources and Mineralization of Shanggong Gold Deposit in Western Henan Province
Through lots of field geological investigation and interior comprehensive analysis, discussion on ore-forming material sources and mineralization of the ShangGong gold deposit in western Henan Province, preliminary considered that ShangGong area is a typical mantle branch structure, which is the main mineralization and ore-controlling structure.The deep origin ore-forming fluid along XiongEr Mountain mantle branch structure shaft fracture upwelling moved to the mantle branch structure detachment zone of JinDongGou fracture, redox environment prompted the ore-forming elements precipitated in structural extension zone, concentration in ore-forming.The article taking the mantle branch structure theory as guidance, through the analysis of spatial distribution regularity of orebody, metallogenic geological characteristics, structural ore controlling regularity, established metallogenic evolution model, provided evidence for the deep and periphery prospecting.
