Geological-Geochemical Characteristics of Guanglingpo Gold Deposit

The Guanglingpo gold deposit is made up of the upper red clay-type and lower carlin-type.It is hosted in the arenaceous argillaceous rock and dolomitic limestone of the Jurassic Mengga Formation and the argillaceous siliceous limestone of the Permian Shazipo Formation. The Guanglingpo gold deposit and its ore bodies are strongly controlled by the Shangrnanggang northeast trending fault, discontinuity, and karst.Wall-rock alterations are dominantly silicification, pyritization, carbonatization, andclayization. The REE contents indicate that the ore-forming fluid was of the Cl-rich type and SO42-rich type.Theδ34S values range from6.471‰ to 21.965‰.The δ18Ovalues range from 9.3‰ to 11.6‰.The calculated δD values are -70‰~77‰.The Pb isotope ratios are as follows: 206pb/204pb=19.551~20.05, 207pb/204pb=15.690~16.240, and 20spb/204pb=38.710~40.137.The lateritization of the red clay-type ore is of the clay stage.
