Research on the Metallogenic Relationship of the Shear Zone at Zailing Gold Deposit in Hebei Province

  Through the research on the basic characteristics and metallogenic relationship of shear zone at Zailing gold deposit in Hebei province, the authors frnd that the ore bodies in this region come from the altered mylonites formed under the tectonic force of the shear zone and the auriferous quartz veins in them.The close relation of the evolution of the shear zone with the magma intrusion activities of this zone reflects the diagenesis and rock-controlling effect of the shear zone; moreover it also shows from another perspective that the shear zone controls the output of gold.The formation of Zailing gold deposit is accompanied by different shear deformation and metamorphism, which has the emplacement of rocks: from the granite (Hongqiyingzi Group granite gneiss) to the diorite (epidiorite) to the orthophyre to the auriferous quartz vein.The gold deposit is the final product of this multi-phase multi-stage structure-the complex magmatic evolution makes the gold progressively enriched.
