Discussion on the Ore-forming Material Sources of Mujicun Copper (Molybdenum) Polymetallic Deposit in Hebei Province,China
The Mujicun copper (molybdenum) deposit has been the only large copper (molybdenum) polymetallic deposit in Hebei province at present. On the basis of former data, this work systematically collected 32 mineral samples (pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, molybdenite, magnetite, quartz ,gypsum, ect) from the deposit, tested and analyzed the isotopes of the mining sulfur, lead, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, silicon, and rhenium. The results showed that the ore-forming materials were mainly derived from the deep earth and the metallogenic solutions were mainly composed of magrnatic water and partly of atmospheric water. It may provide important criteria for deep and peripheral prospecting in the future in this area.
