Discussion on the Metallogenic Mechanism of Minkush Uranium Deposit in Kyrgyz Republic
Minkush uranium deposit is located in the northern Tianshan orogenic belt in Kyrgyz Republic, the ore body is stratiform-like and lenticular, multilayer, uranium is between coal seam #5 and #6 , the reserves ratio of sandstone uranium and coal seam uranium is 2:1.During the early Jurassic, under warm humid climate, the uranium-bearing coal seam strata formed in the river delta marsh sedimentary environment of mountain front, during the late tertiary period, the uranium-bearing coal seam strata were folded, faulted and reversed under the impact of Himalayan tectonic movement; Uranium mineralization is mainly controlled by late phreatic oxidation zone and fracture structure, with the characteristics of epigenetic enrichment superimposed mineralization.
