Temporal and Spatial Distribution of Groundwater Depth and Water Chemical Characteristics in Jinghui Canal Irrigation District of Shaanxi Province in China
To ensure ecological safety and food safety and reasonably use groundwater resources in Jinghui Canal Irrigation District, according to groundwater monitoring data of Jinghui canal irrigation district (1996-2010), using ArcGIS, geo-statistics and Kriging interpolation method, the temporal and spatial change of groundwater environment in recent years and the main reason of groundwater environmental deterioration were analyzed. The results show that the spatial correlation degree of groundwater depth is in the decreasing trend, spatial nonstationarity is enhancing in the irrigation areas, groundwater environmental quality is overall in the decline trend; ground water levels in four areas (Jingyang, Loudi, Yangfu, zhangbu) fall range is particularly outstanding, average groundwater depth is about total 15 m, the largest groundwater depth is up to 50 m or more in local areas. It is recommended that the artificial groundwater regulation and storage, the improvement of groundwater water permit system; the adjustment of agricultural planting structure, could achieve the sustainable use of the water resources and the sustainable development of water-saving agriculture in the irrigation district.
