Research on Stability and Distortion of Slope at the Tower Base of Planning 220kv Transmission Electricity Wire in Chongqing
In 1998 and 2004, the fissures exhibited on the house wall and the ground along the tower base of the planning electricity wire in Chongqing, China.The paper comprehensively studies the characters about distribution and deformation of the fractures near the pole site and analyzes the caused reasons.It is found that the permeability of the overlying loose sediments on the slope is high.In addition, rainfall infiltration triggered the small-scale fissures.The little glide or landslip may happen at the front brim of the slope during flood, but its range and influence are so limited.Detailed studies already exist, but different mechanism failures have been proposed to explain the landslip phenomena.The paper put forward that the precipitation is the subordinate factor but the slopes terrain, gradient and the rock & soil mechanics properties of the diluvium are the main control factors on the slope stability.This study has constructed a new geological mode, and adopted analytical approaches to evaluate the slope stability, based on the geotechnical & monitoring data and geometrical & geological features of the slope.
