The Research Progress and the New Problems of Urban Land Subsidence

　　Caused by the natural and human factors, theland subsidence is a geological hazard which is a reduction of regional elevation resulted in the compact of soil.It mainly explains the research status of three aspects of urban land subsidence (hereafter referred to as land subsidence) which includes occurrence mechanism, prediction and control of land subsidence in our country in recent years.It points out that in recent years, new restrictive factors of land subsidence, the most urgent problem is revealing the relationship between the construction characteristics (such as building density, floor area ratio and time-to-build) and land subsidence, letting the urban construction meet the needs of environmental protection,achieving the continual development of the city.
