Topology Optimization of Periodic Structures Based on SIMP Method1
This paper presents a method for topology optimization of periodic structures using SIMP method.To satisfy the periodic constraint,the designable domain is divided into a certain number of identical unit cells.In this paper,topology optimization problem for periodic structures is represented.The topology optimization mathematical model of periodic structures is built based on SIMP method,in which relative densities of elements are taken as design variables and mean compliance is taken as objective function.The iterative formula based on optimization criteria is deduced.A classic instance proves that it is feasible and effective for applying SIMP method to optimize periodic structures.
