Test Research on Tractor-semitrailer Cornering Braking

　　The performance of tractor-semitrailer cornering braking is an important influencing factor to braking safety.Presently,there is not test standard on tractor-semitrailer cornering braking in China,and traditional test equipments are not suitable for evaluating tractor-semitrailer.In this paper,exploratory research on the test of tractor-semitrailer cornering braking is conducted,including building and installing methods of the test system,test method and evaluation of test result.The research shows that lateral acceleration,braking decelerate,raw rate and pitch angle of tractor grow with the increasing of speed.It is proposed that the speed should not exceed 30km/h and the radius of turn should not less than 25m during tractor-semitrailer cornering braking process.
