The Analysis on Influence of Nonlinear Dynamics Characteristics for Single Gear Pair with Support Clearance Caused by Contact Ratio

  The 6 degrees dynamic model of gear pairs has been established by using lumped mass method,the model includes the support stiffness,backlash and time varying action stiffness.The meshing stiffness of high contact ratio (HCR) gear and low contact ratio (LCR) gear were be calculated using finite element method.The 6 DOF model and energy equations of the gear transmission system were established and energy equations were non-dimensionally disposed after simplified.The phase portrait and Poincare map of system have been obtained using method of Runge-Kutta.The dynamic load coefficientes of HCR gear and LCR gear are solved and compared at different damping and backlash case.When under a certain damping and backlash case,in the resonance region,multiple peak phenomenons appears,which makes the system complicated vibration,while under the same condition,the HCR gear’s dynamic load coefficient is less than LCR gear’s.
