Study on Impact Characteristic of Speed Control Hump on Heavy Vehicle

  In order to study the impact characteristic of speed control hump on vehicle,a 3D road speed control hump was built using triangular mesh method and Delaunay algorithm rule.Simultaneously,a mathematical model of 3D random road surface was established based on the basic principles of harmonic superposition.Then the isomorphism of road speed control hump and 3D random road surface were implemented.In the process of establishing multi-body dynamic model of heavy vehicle,the tires and leaf springs were modeled as flexible bodies and the rubber pads and limited blocks were simplified as non-linear force elements with different stiffness and damping characteristics.The heavy vehicle drive dynamics model under the excitation of 3D random road surface and road speed control hump was built by integrating virtual prototype,3D random road surface and road speed control hump in SIMPACK.The influences of vehicle speed and structure of speed control hump on vehicle impact characteristic were studied.This study provided a reference for impact characteristic of road speed control hump on vehicle and structure design of vehicle-bridge.
