Synthesis and Optimization of Six-bar Mechanism Based on ADAMS

  To make six-bar mechanism of shaper to be more reasonable,at first,the method to regenerate kinematic chain was used for the structural synthesis of the planar six-bar mechanisms that are of quick-return characteristics,then to intercompare them to select out some better ones.To achieve the goal,the geometrical models of two selected mechanisms ware created by the simulation software ADAMS and the kinematical simulation analysis on the model was carried out.The simulation results reveal the law that the displacement,velocity and acceleration of plough head change with time.Through comparing the kinematical charts,we not only can determine the performance parameters of two shaper mechanisms,but also gain a more comprehensive evaluation on performance of two shape mechanisms.Finally,through parameterized modeling,how the length change of each rod of the mechanism to affect its performance was analyzed,and taking the minimum acceleration and the minimum of the maximum pressure angle of a mechanism as the object function,the optimal design of the mechanism was realized.This method is universal to optimize any mechanisms.
