The Degradation Analysis of Grinding Machine Spindle System Based on Complexity

The paper employ a degradation analysis method based on the complexity,in order to evaluate the performance degration of grinding machine spindle system.The vibration signals obtained from workpiece spindle of grinding machine is taken as the analysis target,and the complexity index was used to evaluate the status of workpiece spindle of grinding machine in the six-month course of using.The results illustrated that the complexity of vibration signals increases,and demonstrates the health status of workpiece spindle have slight degradation.Finally,in order to verify the validity of complexity index in degradation analyze,an experiment was taken using degradation bearing dates published by Case Western Reserve University,and the results show that complexity index is effective in the degradation analysis.
