Design of Acoustic Wireless Remote Transmission System for Logging-While-Drilling Data

  L WD data transmission is one of the key technologies for ac hieving intelligent drilling.Acoustic wave wireless transmission techn ology is a kind of L WD data transmission technologies.It takes the ela stic waves propagating along the drill string as carrier to transmit me asurement data to the ground And it is an emerging, promising techn ology for L WD data distance transmission.However, acoustic noise b eing generated during drilling by the drilling equipment and mud circ ulation, and signal attenuation in the transmission medium and especi ally the high reflectivity of the pipe joints caused the impulse response of the drill string lasts for hundreds of milliseconds.All those can caus e serious lnterSymbol interference and eventually lead to the transmis sion capacity of the channel dropped significantly.To address this pro blem, after deeply, analyzing the sound propagation characteristics of the drill string, project team proposes a transmission technology base don SC-FDE technology.In order to improve the reliability and redu ce the error rate of data transmission, the channel coding/decoding te chnology andsignal modulation/demodulation techniques, which are suitable for acoustic transmission channel characteristics, are stuaied.
