Flexible Approach to WOLA-based Wideband IF Signal Analysis

  Channelized technology is an alternative approach to realize wideband intermediate frequency (IF) signal analysis.Structure based on poly-phase discrete Fourier transform (DFT) filter bank is well known as an excellent case, due to the advantages of high efficiency and low operation rate.However, it has an unavoidable weakness for the application flexibility results from the constraint condition of the fixed relationship between decimating factor and channel division number.Aiming to achieving the same goal, structure based on weighted overlap-add (WOLA) filter bank is a superior candidate for the remarkable feature of getting rid of the restriction in poly-phase DFT structure.The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the structure proposed above, and the corresponding experiment shows the application validity in practical project implementation.
