Constitution and Connotation of Evaluation Indexes of Water Functional Zones in the Mid-lower Yangtze Mainstream

　　At present, evaluation indexes of water functional zones in China are mainly COD and Ammonia-Nitrogen, which exist some difficulties in valuating objectively whether the quality of water environment reaches the designated uses or not, and cannot meet the management requirements in water functional zones. In this paper, Combining mid-lower Yangtze mainstream environmental quality and various water functional uses, evaluation indexes of different water functional zones are given including water quality, water quantity, and water ecological aspects. The determination of evaluation indexes of different water functional zones should provide technical supports on strengthening management of water factional zones.
