Water Resources Security Assessment in Yellow River Basin Based on Entropy-TOPSIS Method
In order to evaluate the water resources security in Yellow River Basin effectively, 15 important indexes are selected to evaluate the water resources security, Entropy method is applied to determine the objective weight of each index, and TOPSIS method is used to calculate the distance between evaluation regions and the ideal point as well as the negative ideal point. The evaluation results show that water resources security of the 9 province in Yellow River Basin as follows: Sichuan>Henan>Shandong>Qinghai>Shaanxi>Gansu>Shanxi>Inner Mongolia>Ningxia. The evaluation results are in accordance with the reality of water resource in Yellow River Basin and the Entropy-TOPSIS method can provide a reasonable tool to evaluate the water resources security.
