Research of double probe robot for three-dimensional nanomanipulation and nanoassembly
the Nano-robot has been successfully applied to manipulating nanoparticles, nanowires or nanotubes by widely used pushing or pulling operations on a single surface in air.However,pick-and-place nanomanipulation in liquid is still a challenge, especially in the biotechnology.ln order to solve this problem, this paper presents three-dimensional robot manipulation techniques known as a modified AFM,to achieve the lifting, handling and placement in liquid through the use of double probe as nanotweezer and real-time force sensor. This method can not only get the nano-objects by scanning topography and other information, but also to fill the shortage of traditional technologies, their applications covering almost all fields of technology.
