Analysis on Overall Stability and Seismic Damage Evaluation for Diagrid Tube Structures
Overall stability of high-rise structures under vertical load and lateral load such as wind load and earth quake action must be considered in design, particularly under rare earthquake.Approximate equivalent lat eral stiffness of high-rise diagrid tube structures in this article was given by deformation analysis; meanwhile,critical equivalent stiffness-weight ratio was obtained by analysis of overall stability of high-rise diagrid tube structures.Moreover, based on the material damage, seismic damage models were established to achieve the material-scale refined analysis.Damage distribution coefficients of vertical and horizontal members were studied.Through analyzing the evolutionary process of member-scale damage distribution and global-scale structural damage, the failure mechanism of diagrid structures was represented completely.
