The Piezoelectric Properties in PbZrx Ti1-x O3 Ferroelectric Thin Film
Based on the modified Landau theory, the properties of the PbZrxTi1-xO3(PZT) film on the large elec tric field and at different temperature were analyzed with the consideration of the misfit strain induced by substrates.PbZrx Ti1-xO3 film has a strong nonlinear response under large electric field.With the assistance of extemal strain, both the polarization and piezoelectric properties are greatly enhanced compared with those of the bulk counterparts.The component ratio of Zr and Ti in PbZrxTi1-xO3 has a very important impact on piezoelectric coefficients.Results show that the piezoelectric coefficient d33 in PbZrxTi1-xO3 with x between 0.4 and 0.6 is larger than others.(How do you know !) Due to the large tunability of piezoresponse, PZT (x =0.5) epitaxial film is a promising candidate for use in the future tunable devices.
