Analysis on Gravity Second-order Effects and Overall Stability of High-rise Diagrid Tube Structures
Because of the advantage of large lateral stiffness and space performance, thehigh-rise diagrid tube structures have been got extensive attention by engineers in the aspect of designing high-rise structures. However, there is less reliable theoretical guidance and comprehensive technical criteria of this kind of struc tural systems in the seismic design.Overall stability of the high-rise structures under vertical load and lateral load such as wind load and earthquake action must be considered in design, particularly under rare earth quakes.Approximate equivalent lateral stiffness of high-rise diagrid tube structures in this article was given by deformation analysis; in addition, gravity second-order effects of the high-rise diagrid tube structures un der inverted triangle horizontal lateral loads were studied; meanwhile, the variation and the reasonable val ues of equivalent stiffness-gravity ratio were proposed ; moreover, critical equivalent stiffness-weight ratio was obtained by analysis of overall stability of the high-rise diagrid tube structures, and some references for de sign were provided..
