Mobile Wireless Sensor Technique for Structural Health Monitoring

　　Mobile wireless sensor system for structural health monitoring (SHM) has been attracted attention of re searchers recently.This paper introduces two techniques including mobile wireless nodes and mobile wireless base station.The mobile wireless sensor nodes, which can provide adaptive spatial resolutions compared with static sensors.The mobile wireless base station test technique can be used to develop the fast detection sys tem of the medium and small-span bridges.In this study, laboratory experiments on sixteen-frame and a truss structure are conducted to test the performance of the mobile sensing system.The results show that the mobile wireless sensor has good potential to be used in SHM in future.
