Human Induced Walking Load Model Based on the Body Center of Mass Trajectory
Vibration serviceability has become an important issue nowadays, but research in walking load model is still very limited, especially in China. The most common type of human sources of vibration is walking. This paper proposes to derive a walking load model based on experiments using three dimensionalmotion capture system on Chinese people. To do that, the movement of the body center of mass in conjunction with the rigid body model was studied.Data that describe the trajectory of the center of mass during slow, quick and fast walking rates were obtained.By analyzing them with Fouriers and rigid body model theories, a load model was finally derived for four different walking frequencies.
