Characteristics of Wind Pressure Spectra on Large Span Flat Roofs under Conical Vortex

  This paper presents the spectral model of conical vortex induced fluctuating wind pressure based on wind tunnel tests.The auto-spectral model consists components regarding with on coming turbulence spectra and signature turbulence spectra (including separation and vortex shedding), the contribution of each reflec ted in the weighted coefficients, which met the flow field characteristics.The cross-spectral was simplified as an exponential coherence function, with decay coefficient c =2.5, indicating that the correlation of wind pressure field is stronger than that of oncoming flow field.The model was validated by comparisons between the wind induced responses of wind tunnel data and spectral model.
