Based on the output value, economic benefits, import and export data for Shanghai industry in 2011-2012, the operation of the Shanghai textile industry in the past two years is analyzed.In 2012, Shanghai textile industry is similar to that in the whole country, that is, the development of the industry has encountered great difficulties.Downturn in external demand, high cotton prices, increased environmental pressure, rising costs of the elements and other increasingly complex internal and external environment forced Shanghai textile industry to speed up transformation and change.
