Research on surface modification of nano-silica

  The nano-silica is the largest industrialized production of inorganic material in the world and it has been widely used, which has very broad application prospects.However, due to its large surface area, high binding energy, and easy agglomeration, its excellent properties will disappear with the agglomeration intensifies.So we need to modify the surface of nano-silica to improve its dispersion and expand its application performance.This paper comprehensively summarizes the main methods of modification of nano-silica, including physical method and chemical method, the modified principle and the research prospect of nano-silica.
