Explanation of the SAR of banned aromatic amines

摘要：

　　This paper summarized the degradation of azo dyes in vivo, which is considered as a metabolic activation step.The released aromatic amines intermediates are procarcinogens and toxic mechanisms of aromatic amines were highlighted.Base on the mechanism analysis, the structure-activity relationships of the 24 banned aromatic amines were explained rationally.It turned out that the carcinogenic potency is directly related with inductive effect, conjugation effect and chlorinated effect.The structural alerts for mutagenicity and carcinogenicity were displayed, and could be useful for the designed synthesis of green azo dyes.
