The study of Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication for the dynamic analysis of rolling bearing

  This paper present a method for the calculation of elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) that can used in the dynamic analysis of rolling bearings.In EHL theory,it is generally assumed that the rolling element is subject to a constant load,but in the dynamic analysis of rolling bearings,the load is unknown.Based on geometry and position relation of rolling elements,the convergence criterion of EHL theory is modified to meet the need of dynamic analysis of rolling bearings.Then the multi-grid method is employed to study the EHL of a ball bearing.This method is proved by the results and it can be used in the dynamic analysis of rolling bearings.
