Vibration analysis of a rotating system with cylindrical roller bearing surface waviness
In this paper,a general model is proposed to predict vibration responses of rotor system supported by cylindrical roller bearing under the effects of surface waviness.The contact force is obtained by using Hertzian line elastic contact deformation theory.The waviness of rolling elements is modelled by the cosine function.The cylindrical roller bearing model includes centrifugal forces.The governing equations of the system are got by the dynamic model.The implicit numerical integration technique Variable Step Runge-Kutta method with Newton-Raphson method is used to solve the system equations.Then the results are employed to investigate the effects of outer and inner race waviness on the vibration characteristics of the rotor system.
