低温多效与反渗透海水淡化比较

摘要：

　　Low-Temperature Multiple Effect Distillation (LT-MED) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) are currently the most mature and widely used technologies for seawater desalination.Based on an analysis of the physical principles,investment and implementation costs and main features,this article introduces a comparison between these two desalination methods.Results and conclusions indicate that both RO and LT-MED have their own advantages and drawbacks.On the planet scale,it appears notably that RO technology is best fitted when electricity is the main power source whereas LT-MED plants are more suitable to be coupled with thermal power plants because of the low-grade heat available.
