A Comparative Study on Electrosorption Behavior of Carbon Nanotubes Electrodes Fabricated via Different Methods

  The carbon nanotubes (CNTs) electrodes were fabricated via electrophoretic deposition,press and screen printing methods,respectively,and their electrosorption performance were investigated.The results show that the fabrication methods play an important role in electrosorption performance of CNTs electrodes by influencing their morphology,structure,mass loading and water wettability.The CNTs electrode fabricated via electrophoretic deposition method exhibits a higher electrosorption capacity of 0.99 mg·g-1 and a lower salt removal (12.7%) than those of the CNTs electrodes fabricated via press method (0.56 mg·g-1 and 53.9%) and screen printing method (0.33 mg·g-1 and 36.7%).
