Analysis of the Main Factors that Affect the Performance of SDI Tester
As the membrane process of water treatment is applied widely,the measuring technology should be improved and product models should be expanded accordingly for various measuring instruments for membrane pollution detection.In this paper,main factors influencing tests of Silt Density Index (SDI) values are analyzed,and comparison is made about the application ranges of manual,automatic,and portable SDI testers,from the aspects of measurement accuracy,operation cost,application environment,and intelligent degrees and so on.The design concept and main structures of both electric and water circuits for SDI,as well as electric circuit design and software process are introduced mainly.Additionally,some suggestions and countermeasures are put forward for design and operation aiming at such factors as fluctuation in water temperature and water pressure,flow sensor,and etc.
