Synthetic Evaluation for Natural Water Quality Based on Nearest Neighbor Method with Entropy Weights

  For evaluating natural water quality,nearest neighbor method with entropy weights was presented.The entropy weighting method was used to determine the weights instead of traditional calculating super-scale method.The nearest neighbor method was applied to evaluate water quality level.Nearest neighbor method with entropy weights was developed to evaluate the level of water quality of the Beishihe River in China,compared with the gray relational analysis method.The simulation results verified the good feasibility and effectiveness of the improved evaluation method,and water quality results more credible and reasonable compared with the traditional method.The improved nearest neighbor evaluation method could use information of monitoring data more scientifically and comprehensively,and broadened a new evaluation method for water quality assessment.
