Research on the Application of Automotive Steels
There are many kinds of automotive steel products manufactured by steel companies and utilized by automotive industry.Automotive steels can be classified in several different ways.As a member of automotive OEMs,from my point of view,more attention will be paid to the application of automotive steels.In this paper,some typical applications of automotive steels will be discussed,including rolled products,spring steel,silicon steel,non-quenched and tempered steel,bolting steel and gear steel.The 2 points focused on are the performance and stability of the steels.And some suggestions for the steel manufacturers will be discussed with all of you delegates.
