Study on the Effect of Mechanical Properties on Weld Lobe of Zinc Coated Steel Sheet for Auto

摘要：

　　The weld lobe is one of the important indexes for weldability estimate of cold rolled automobile sheet.For the galvanized sheet,the zinc coating seriously affects both welding process and joint quality.In this paper,the relationship between yield strength and weld lobe has been studied by the method of numerical simulation.It shows that the sheet with the character of low yield strength has narrow weld lobe in same case.Finally,these results have been proved by the method of experiment.The results may be useful and guiding for galvanized sheet development and welding process optimization.
