Innovations in Continuous Galvanizing Lines for the Production of AHSS

　　Weight reduction and safety improvement are key parameters in the development of the automotive industry,leading to increasing use of advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) grades.These steels are characterized by high strength combined with good formability and weldability.Modern production lines must satisfy highest quality requirements but also large flexibility to be able to process a broad range of materials including new multiphase steels.Innovations are then required in the annealing process technology in order to produce AHSS taking into account the cost and environment concerns.
