Interannual variation of Kuroshio intrusion in the southern Taiwan Strait

摘要：

　　The Taiwan Strait is the main passage between the South China Sea and the East China Sea.Because of variable Kuroshio intrusions,the hydrology in the southern Taiwan Strait displays seasonal and interannual variations.Our data show that the El Ni(n)o increases the strength of Kuroshio intrusion while the La Ni(n)a reduces the intrusion in all seasons.The hydrology shows significant differences between the El Ni(n)o and La Ni(n)a in summer.
