Progress on the Preparation and Application of Mg(OH)2 as New Flame Retardants

摘要：

　　The properties and the mechanism of flame retardants of magnesium hydroxide were discussed.The advantages and disadvantages of the methods are introduced to prepare magnesium hydroxide using the different raw materials.The modifying methods of magnesium hydroxide and application are summarized, and the development prospect of magnesium hydroxide is analyzed.
